J. Michael McCormick received his Pennsylvania real estate brokers license in November of 2006.

Mr. McCormick is an attorney with approximately thirty-two years of experience in real estate law, commercial real estate development and management, residential real estate titles and closings.  He is also experienced in many other areas of the law.

Mr. McCormick has extensive experience in residential real estate transactions from the level of doing title searches to those of clearing title and settlements.  He has personally closed over six hundred mortgage loans amounting to an approximate mortgage volume of over twenty-nine million dollars. He is experienced in evaluating title insurance issues and zoning law. 

He has extensive  experience in drafting and negotiating shopping center leases and purchase contracts. He is also experienced in assisting real estate representatives in evaluating technicalities of purchase and lease transactions and in expediting negotiation process; experienced in resolving property management issues relating to zoning, shopping centers, malls, and freestanding sites; experienced in evaluating and drafting shopping center declarations, easement and cross-easement, common area management, parking, sign, and utility agreements. Also experienced in legal evaluation of documents of record such as easements regarding access and rights of way, covenants, conditions and restrictions, and in drafting appropriate amendments to achieve desired result in lease and purchase agreements. He has settled commercial transactions in six states, including both lease transactions and purchases.

J. Michael McCormick received both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
